Stay informed with Wall Street views: KGI Securities announces partnership with Fundstrat on US equity research

To strengthen its capabilities of overseas investment research and sub-brokerage business, KGI Securities held a press conference tilted “Global Partnership: Definitive US Insights” today (June 2) to announce an exclusive strategic partnership with Fundstrat, a well-recognized independent research institute based in the US. The collaboration will also involve KGI Investment Advisory, KGI Hong Kong and KGI Singapore to broaden the coverage of global investment research. The research content will be made available on KGI Securities’ trading application “e-Strategy,” where users may receive digital investment services straight from leading Wall Street analysts to better understand the global market dynamics and make informed decisions.

Fundstrat was established in 2014 and headquartered in New York. It is one of the most esteemed independent investment research institutes in the US with the majority of members of its core research teams coming from bellwether investment banks including J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley. Fundstrat’s research is predominantly focused on short-term market tempo and changes in investor sentiment and market liquidity, covering topics of US government policy, investment portfolio strategy, quantitative and technical analyses, digital asset and market intelligence, which value the timeliness of information and complement the traditional, long-term approach of analyzing business fundamentals.

Mr. Tom Lee, founder of Fundstrat, is a famous Wall Street strategist with over 25 years of experience working in the research field. He had worked for J.P. Morgan as the chief strategist and won the top analyst title multiple times in the survey of Institutional Investor. Mr. Lee has been frequently invited by mainstream financial media, such as CNBC and Bloomberg TV, to share his views on the global market. He is indeed a man of great influence in the global investment circle.

Through the new partnership, KGI Investment Advisory will be able to leverage the research findings of Fundstrat to complement its own advantages in long-term analysis and provide more comprehensive content about US equity research in a timely fashion through its daily reports and KGI Securities’ YouTube channel “U.S. Market Unlocked”.

As far as digital services are concerned, an express portal has been created on the e-Strategy application, and users may click on the “Winner” tab on the main page to access the content combining the research findings of Fundstrat and KGI Investment Advisory. The brand new section of “Fundstrat view” will be added in mid-July for investors to access first-hand information about US government policies, Federal Reserve announcements and day-to-day research reports from Wall Street.

KGI Securities said the new partnership with Fundstrat represents an upgrade in not only the research content, but also the capability to incorporate world-class analyses in the provision of more timely investment services. Moving forward, KGI Securities will continue to engage in research integration, digital platform optimization and content service upgrades in a bid to help investors broaden their horizons on the macroeconomy and make better decisions for global investment under the aegis of Mr. Lee and his exceptional research teams.
