KGI Securities Fixed Income department is engaged in bond underwriting, providing financial advisory services to issuers and investors in primary market while also trading and market making in secondary market. In addition, we partner with international corporations to issue Formosa bonds in Taiwan as a way to provide investors the diversified financial instrument. Our team also actively plays the role of bond market maker to boost market liquidity.
Derivatives
We offer a diverse selection of products, through interest, bonds, credit derivatives, convertible bond asset swaps, and structured products to foreign exchange spot or derivatives. In addition, we also expand our structured product line to link mutual funds, bonds or bond ETF that has made us the number one issuer of leveraged notes.
Leading Performance
KGI Securities's underwriting and financial advisory services lead the market in both Taiwan dollar (NTD) and foreign currency-denominated fixed-income securities. In 2024 alone, we underwrote over 102.38 billion in Taiwan dollar-denominated corporate bonds or debentures and 790 million USD in Formosa bonds. As for secondary market transactions, according to statistics from the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) in 2024, KGI Securities stands out from peers by totaling approximately 189.96 billion NTD in outright trading of government bonds, NTD-denominated corporate bonds, and bank debentures.
